Welcome to Naramatisho Women’s Centre, an initiative under the Pastoral Women’s Council (PWC). This centre serves as a beacon of empowerment, providing indigenous pastoralist women’s with the resources and opportunities to achieve economic independence, and thrive within their communities.

Our mission goes beyond economic empowerment; we are committed to fostering gender equity, expanding access to education, and preserving the rich heritage of pastoral communities. By bridging tradition with progress, we aim to build a resilient society where women and girls can achieve their full potential.

80% of our income directly supports pastoralist women through various empowerment initiatives, while 20% funds scholarships for girls from pastoralist communities. These scholarships will help create a pathway to brighter futures for Maasai girls by addressing critical barriers such as gender inequity, financial hardships, and lack of access to education.
